It might, but using a terrible instrument to rate people shouldn't continue. If it has adverse consequences, we should work towards fixing those problems not keeping something aweful because we understand it's parameters.

The step 2 score is still there to be looked at. It’s ranked by PDs around 6-7 currently as most important just behind step 1 at number 4. Nothing is changing other than putting the focus on step 2. Until that becomes pass fail there is no real change. - 2 more replies
