2/ While it’s taken A LOT of deep breaths (& several unbearably painful yoga poses) 4 me to actually post this, I needed to confess.
Why am I scared? I haven’t given up on #healthcare! I’m simply ‘reinventing’ what I can do 2 impact it.
Sound sci-fi? It is’t. It’s my reality.pic.twitter.com/pv149KZ4av

3/ u see, healthcare is broken. IMO, at least. For me, it was no longer a feasible option 2 stay practicing w/in it, as primary care
#doctor, the way it’s headed. I absolutely
ed my patients & relationships made, but too many players got in the way, taking away from the magic.pic.twitter.com/gtalilLbab

4/ I predict that, if change doesn’t happen, even more
#doctors will follow suit. I realize#burnout is already at all-time high & suicide on rise. Maybe I’m wrong. Oh, how I hope I’m wrong. For sake of the health of future generations, & the#health of everyone I love.#HOPEpic.twitter.com/90mSTcgsLv

5/ There’s a silver lining where I’m concerned: I HAVE started to make a difference. I learned how to leverage the ‘online‘ (a reference to The Upside Down, for those
@Stranger_Things fans among you). I created a#startup that’s gained momentum & strive to make a difference!pic.twitter.com/y6Prcxl2fk1 reply 0 retweets 42 likesShow this thread -
6/ Will I make it? I don’t know. I’ll sure try my hardest! But if I won’t, that’s ok too, b/c I know myself - my
#passion - it’s on my side. I’ll just get up & TRY AGAIN. I’ll be exploring my new world through a diff lens (& taking u along) b/c, well.. I haven’t done it before.pic.twitter.com/tMp8IMyvW22 replies 0 retweets 36 likesShow this thread -
I’m committing to pursuit of
#innovation, thru entrepreneurship. To learn everything I can about what’s out there. & to take whoever wants 2 come along, w/me. B/c I know I’m not the only one who feels the frustration & wants to create#change. So.. are you in? (& pls share)pic.twitter.com/CvcQOnQrbQ

I appreciate the supportive comments. I’m also 100% aware -possessing a set of introspection skills- that it isn’t a ‘congratulatory’ time 4 patients or employer. At times there comes a point in 1’s life when a tough decision must be made at the expense of dissatisfaction) 1/pic.twitter.com/pjjzDe73hO

2/I look at it this way: it’s all in the angle. If the ‘dissatisfied’, or those who raise their brows in judgement, were 2 place themselves in my
, & experience things as I have, they may react differently.
It fascinates me, in fact, that we each react based on OWN experience.pic.twitter.com/MKWbJGC3bk1 reply 0 retweets 16 likesShow this thread -
3/I tried 2 make it work 4 a long time. For me (& I stress ‘FOR ME’ here), it was a squeeze I could no longer bear; a vice. I am not deserting the clinical in place of a seat on my sofa, to eat bon-bons & watch Maury Povich (or better yet, watch Gwenyth or Oz..). I still
#work!pic.twitter.com/T5mDtG3gPo1 reply 0 retweets 14 likesShow this thread -
4/ I’m simply angling it differently. Looking/experimenting thru diff lens. I’m poised, in fact, to make it next-level, & redefine how each of us deals w/healthcare woes - both individually & together. To facilitate
#change, from the PHYSICIAN standpoint, in new ways.#SoMeDocspic.twitter.com/NuhEGcDw594 replies 0 retweets 35 likesShow this thread
