seems worth speaking your mind to the doc but I don’t actually think it is worth someone actually getting fired over, as that is the likely outcome. I would caution that calling out a physician family member on twitter could also be construed as a hipaa violation...

Docs post case stndnes of actual patients all the time. What's the difference. Plis, we should disseminate our actual experiences?

OK to post pt information if you have consent. Complaining "i have a patient on this floor whose family X/Y/Z" could easily be used to identify that family which by the books is certainly a HIPAA violation.
