when you said no screening improves all cause mortality, i assume you mean except for cervical cancer? Not a primary care doc but I thought that was the one exception..

pretty sure the only screening study that has improved all-cause mortality was lung cancer screening which did in one trial and it was via deaths not related to lung cancer (i.e. does lung cancer screening really reduce your rates of car accident deaths, you decide) -but ill look

ive never looked into the evidence but just assumed cervical cancer screening worked but I thought the same previously about colonoscopies etc. Except I thought rates of cervical CA have significantly dropped because of it.
