Great stuff. I usually resuscitate with NS and switch to LR only if I have to administer more than 2 liters but that is moreso because of staff familiarity. Are you guys using LR as your 1st line fluid in all respects?

i pretty much default to LR unless they are hypochloremic or alkalotic
