Have been doing 16:8 for 6 weeks. Lost 10 lbs. First 4 days sucked. SUCKED. Never thought I could make it. Now it’s not bad at all. My version: skip breakfast. Eat healthy whole foods. Avoid processed shit but enjoy your food. Just don’t snack. It’s really not hard anymore.https://twitter.com/drjasonfung/status/1012340720349405187 …
For me it was easy from day 1 and it's an extra stress relief to not have to worry about planning 3 meals a day. I think the key is to stay very hydrated. I eat whatever I want a mix of healthy/"unhealthy". My philosophy is the best diet is "less".

Oh yeah. Hardest food change for me was cutting out cereal. I can eat cereal for DAYS. But eating two meals a day means I actually also save money, and buy higher quality food for the meals that I actually consume! (And also ice cream)

cereal is a great dessert i just never eat it in the mornings anymore. I have to admit if there’s a free donut in the hospital it aborts my fast and interestingly if I eat any breakfast I start getting ravenously hungry long before lunchtime.
