I wonder how this integrates into the workflow. If I have to remember this specialized program exists and it takes me 12 clicks to load it up and we have to pay the radiologist anyway where is the incentive?

Both very good questions: I can’t speak to workflow, but supposedly, this tool increases sensitivity and specificity. So the incentive could be better patient care...? Note: my tweet was not an endorsement, just spreading some news that may be of interest to some in EM.

ahhh i see. reading into the article they will likely try to integrate within the PACs to point out clues to a possible fracture to focus in on for closer inspection.
