    DLR cooked up a tremendous publicity stunt. A high school band made the pages of the Pasadena Star News thanks to the band posting "3000 copies" of the "Naked Flyer" posted around Pasadena.

    From the pages of Van Halen Rising. Seeing this Red Ball Jet flyer for the first time as I was researching the book was akin to discovering the Dead Sea Scrolls. 😀

    To all you Van Halen fans out there.....how often do you see an advertisement for DLR's early band, Red Ball Jetts? Pretty bad ass.
