"The last term of Cth Parliament truly was the worst of times [for LGBTIQ Australians]. There is absolutely no guarantee the current term of Parliament will be the best. But there’s also no reason why it can’t be. So let’s get to work." #auslaw #auspol

I'm troubled by Federal ALP using the Victorian Pride Centre for their election campaign. They enabled the 2004 Marriage Amendment Act that devastated the LGBTIQ+ community and never apologised. They should be banned from the building for that.

I don’t believe God gave me life or that some supernatural entity will take it. My end of life choices should not be determined by someone else’s religious beliefs. Voluntary #AssistedDying does not affect those who don’t want it. We all must have the right to choose.

Fred Nile MLC (CDP) says giving and taking life is God’s domain. We respect his beliefs, but ask him to respect those of us who do not share them. We do not agree that suffering brings endurance or hope. #nswpol #assisteddying #vad

J.K. Rowling isn't a "controversial figure", she's an anti Trans activist who enables her single issue unhinged followers and has helped drive the sort of Handmaid's Tale level of Transgender vilification and eradication we're now seeing in the US. #MardiGrasABC

The world is upside down. Highlighting that torture is happening in an inner city Melbourne Hotel, Park Hotel is apparently more heinous than the torture itself. The owners should be prosecuted for profiting from suffering. Not Australians speaking out for basic human rights.

My 76 year old friend Peter Green has been arrested for writing the word “shame” in chalk on the walls of the Park Hotel where the Australian government are unlawfully holding refugees, some of whom have been detained since childhood. innercitynews.com.au/elderly-activi

I have had some issues with in the past, but I have to hand it to him on this one. Wow, what a devastating video. Well-researched, cleverly-written, funny without distracting from the seriousness of the content. This is must-watch.
