1/ We can go on and on about whether or not this was a set-up, a Black Cube op, or what have you. The fact that Kellyanne shared the story so prominently, and the Trumpist response to the news, suggests they were in on it. But that's over now.

2/ These idiots think that by removing one guy, the whole investigation stops. And stuff just doesn't work that way. Watch what happens to the Trump/Cohen stuff in New York, and how little changes, and keep that in mind the next time Trump starts talking about firing Mueller.

3/ Trump also thinks that he can pardon people, wave that magic wand, and everything stops. Again, this is the sort of understanding a child would have about the power of the pardon. It's too simplistic. It doesn't work the way Trump thinks.

4/ That
#Scheiderman resigned so quickly, from a tactical standpoint, is good. The story will be over after a day. We will replace him, and the investigations will continue. It's not like he was working alone, not sharing his files. That's not how this stuff works.Show this thread -
5/ Also, as good an AG as Schneiderman was, it's not like we're in some state bereft of good attorneys. New York has a DEEP bench. I'm not sure what the plan is here, but it seems like Cuomo has one.
@PreetBharara, peut-etre?Show this thread -
Bottom line: they won this one, because they used our weakness (we have to be ethical and moral; they do not) against us. And they are gloating. To which I say: SCOREBOARD. Justice WILL be served. Just not by Schneiderman. [END]

I'm all in for either
@PreetBharara,@HillaryClinton or@waltshaub -
Not Hillary She has suffered enough abuse. Walter Shaub is impressive, but Preet Bharara would be awesome, if he has no skeletons hiding. If anyone spilled the dirt on Schneiderman it was Guiliani. I think he spilled the dirt on Eliott Spitzer to protect his Wall St cheaters

Who determines the new attorney general?
-
Cuomo, I think.
-
I hope so. The last thing we need is for Sessions to pick someone
-
She’s already been named, but I don’t remember her name unfortunately. From all accounts she’s excellent. Argued before the Supreme Court multiple times and clerked for Marshall.
-
Would it have been too much to ask that he first name be Frances?

Hahaha!

Just another routine libturd hypocrite biting the dust. Turn the page already. “YEAH BUT RUSSIA!”

-
You are correct! Thanks.

The so called President of these United States committed treason, conspiring with a hostile foreign government to affect our elections. There is no "getting over" that. Buzz off

Delusional. You should seek treatment.
