I’d like to point out, that this is the most popular tweet I’ve ever had. Over 33,000 impressions and climbing. I knew people would think it was cool, but, quite a nice response!!

So I guess I shouldn't show a sneak peak of what I'm working on? It's not made of wood, but it'll sure be unique when it's done. I know there's kickstarter for new caps, but it's so fun to model my own keys. I've put the blank-faced caps on thingiverse.pic.twitter.com/1zeEP8NWQL

Oh no, we mustn’t think like that! Share away. I like seeing people’s projects, doesn’t matter if they’ve taken less time than someone else’s project.

Beautiful and I am jealous of the skill involved.
-
Yeah. I’m pretty envious of the skill involved too. Puts my crude wood working skills the shame.

How much would be such a case?

He's probably not selling them. But if he were, and paying himself according to the time and effort put in, it would have to be very expensive!!

Is it wise though to put an electronic device in a wooden case though? I know c64 doesn't get as hot as modern machines, but still, it's electronics - one short circuit, one stray spark and the entire house is up in flames.
-
It’s probably pretty safe. It runs at 5volts and 9volts. I don’t think C64 motherboards are prone to producing sparks. The only thing that gets hot are some of the chips. Just give them heat sinks.

looks like a 128 tho. :/

To me the C64c was the canonical look of the C64. But, I came to have a C64 quite late. ~1991.
