    We have identified this piece of metal on the tracks as the cause of today's issue in the Clark St tunnel. We are working to determine how it got there. Thank you New York for your continuing patience while we work to address and improve subway performance.

    Northbound 2 and 3 train service has resumed. We are working to restore southbound 2 and 3 service between Manhattan and Brooklyn as soon as possible. We will keep you updated.

    Good Evening. There is currently an ongoing investigation of a track condition near Wall St, affecting 2 and 3 trains. We are working to resolve this issue ASAP, however, at this time we do advise using other train lines if possible. ^JL

    Service restored between Jamaica and Atlantic as crews continue to repair a broken rail west of Jamaica. Customers can anticipate delays while track repairs continue. Based on current estimates, we anticipate that full service will be restored before tonight's PM rush.

    two years for a survey? can that be done faster? I know things take time and there is a bureaucracy ... but this is part of what causes our frustrations as riders

    Two things: 1. The Subway Action Plan is tackling a huge backlog of maintenance to make the existing system work more reliably. 2. I'm pressing for the funding and political backing to completely renew the entire NYC Transit signaling system. ^AB
