Women pensioners short changed on value of NIC yrs built up wi SPA wrong side of 6/4/16 BSP worth £4.07 NSP worth £4.55 Should be same 4both
Women's inequality is losing out in workplace, timeout 4family & caring - helped by NIC family credits >1978 & now caring credits
But not before that date,& if you returned to work before then on Married Women's stamp no credit even if kids at school.£290 pm at present.
Many had dilemma whether or not to pay full stamp or not and made their choice at the time, in hindsight many might have done differently
Definitely, but we're decieved as to extent of benefit; difficult anyway,on p/time wages & xpenses of growing kids
Times much different then, 2put it right all over state pension age should have a min income £159 as all contributed2 society in their way
I had forgotten the mortgage interest in double figures + loan from Bank of M&D;(I think they gained from that as DD never rescinded
