I totally understand the shocked reactions to the professor's tweet - I had the same reaction - for about 5 seconds, until I realised what he meant. But it is important to realise that that reaction is based on a complete misunderstanding. He doesn't even support redistribution!
Incel men want sex and may have high standards about with whom - or not. Which is all totally unexceptional. What makes them stand out is they can't get it even after many attempts, and some of them (not all!) have screwed-up, extremist ideas.

He was using it as an argument for libertarianism, or at least as an argument for statists being hypocrites. I take the opposite view. Generous redistribution decreases inequality in access to sex, and that is a good thing.
