    Ridiculous that this took eight months. Biden should have cleaned house immediately. More important removals needed: * Wray * DeJoy (via firing Bloom) * Garland (should have never been hired) * Walensky (would be *so bipartisan* to fire her; does Biden not value bipartisanship?!)

    New: The Biden administration has told 11 appointees to military academy boards by the Trump administration to resign by tonight or be removed. Officials asked to resign include Kellyanne Conway, Sean Spicer, and H.R. McMaster.

    This framing is so disappointing. “Red & blue states moving in opposite directions.” “Some tightening…some loosening.” No. The story is the passage of voter suppression laws which are fundamentally anti-democratic. Obscuring the threat in both-sidism is part of how we got here.

    The passage of new voting restrictions in Texas last month exacerbated a growing divide in the country over ballot access, with red and blue states increasingly moving in opposite directions on election policy.
