Thanks for the idea! We cannot make them larger (Nil is not scale-invariant) but we can make them narrower and denser (0.9x9.0x0.81). YouTube: https://youtu.be/RPL4-Ydviug (for some reason I have problem uploading this to Twitter).

I've been playing around with chainmail homopolymers of polyhedral skeleta for a while: http://owen.maresh.info/cmhp.html -- usually I just spend October's really on lattices, but I am likely going to be spending more time on them of late, so that's where the question was prompted from.
