Thanks! I can't work with automorphic forms myself, but the plots of roots of low-degree polynomials you linked should already explain some of the features of the plot. I should have a/some rudimentary 8-bit density plots soon. But I am attempting sleep. The automorphic forms part is an eta 10 years before we have a procedure to follow for this kind of situation.
