imaging software I developed using colour mapping, Only to find the radiologist I was working with, who had excellent black and white vision, also was partially colour blind!
Randomly: In the past I used AVS Express for some visualization (it was a bit clunky). At the moment I'm just using Matlab for some horology work. Most of my art is just using GIMP and Inkscape and is pretty unstructured.
Very nice, I wish I had that capacity to automate the GIMP transformations. Maybe,when I get bored with what I'm doing, i'll look more seriously into animation and also get some better processing capacity. You always give me something to think about... LOL
