A good rebuttal to Prof Potter's over-zealous attempt to deprive the NZ hospital population, of all people, of the most nutrient-dense foods available.

FIVE Productivity FEYNMAN- strategies: 🧠 • Stop trying to know-it-all. • Don't worry about what others are thinking. • Don't think about what you want to be, but what you want to do. • Have a sense of humor and talk honestly. • Teach others what you know.

According the last nutrition survey, the nutrients Kiwis are most deficient in are zinc, iron, protein, vitamin A and calcium. Plant-based theoretician John D Potter thinks we can get levels down even lower in our hospital population. Jesus wept.

Let's remember that like me Prof Grant was committed carb-loader. He asked to look at the literature to see if there was anything behind this low carb "fad". When she reported back: "Sorry Prof. We might have got it all wrong", he tried it. Rest is NZ history

This is a life style not a diet. If only we could have this LCHF in our hospitals and actually help people take control of their disease and help with the explosive obesity epidemic.
