The claimant used fake email addresses to impersonate the composers of the original songs that this channel made covers of. But the composers themselves confirmed that the emails are indeed fake, and that they have no problem with the channel covering their songs. @TeamYouTube

Take a look at what's happening with
@TheMacroShow's channel right now, he's a smaller creator and could really use a boost to get@TeamYouTube's attention -
That is mainly the fault of copyright law and greedy music labels abusing it. It's happening to many other Youtubers too but there's nothing much YouTube can do sadly.

This took a little while to get resolved, but we followed up with the creator here: https://twitter.com/TeamYouTube/status/1112836377954082816 … Thanks again for bringing to our attention!

Great to hear, thank you!

Can you help
@MiniLaddd who is having tons of copyright strikes on pretty much all of his videos for no reason? -
Sadly can't really help there. Many Youtubers are dealing with the same thing, but the fault in these cases lies mainly with the music labels submitting the claims, not really with YouTube.

Lmao they demonized a JackSepticEye video cause he sang Hooked on a Feeling. They’ve made it so that it’s the melodies and lyrics that are “protected”. Basically you can’t even reference a song safely anymore.

Demonetized* my bad
