    If I have this right, Nicola Sturgeon is accused of lying to the Scottish Parliament and the BBC reports that if found guilty she will ‘have to resign’, but Boris Johnson has been proven to lie to the UK Parliament multiple times and is able to do so with impunity.

    99% of people arriving in country are not going into hotel quarantine. Evidence from Home Office to this am. 15,000 people arriving a day. 150 go to hotels - only 1%. Majority can still go straight onto public transport home without being tested on arrival

    I try my best not to do Twitter 'spats' these days but always made exceptions for Piers (who's now blocked me) & . The reason, which a lot of you wont like, is that when I was a young journalist I looked up to them both more than almost anyone else in the game.

    So UK MPs at Westminster tonight voted AGAINST Parliament being involved in the scrutiny of trade deals. A power British MEPs had for all EU deals till we left the . I obviously missed something about Parliamentary sovereignty & taking back control.
