The issue here was that this mom took her son to get inked by some bootleg teen tattoo artist that wasn’t sanitary or safe! I would never, but I do think a parent should be able to decide if they want their child to get tatted or pierced by a PROFESSIONAL.https://goo.gl/aHufdZ

A child is not the property of a parent, a thing they can do whatever they like to because they own it. A child is to be protected by a parent. Where would it stop? What if a parent wanted the child to have full face tattoos?

It is not the government's place to tell a parent how to parent. Tattoos don't harm a child anymore than a circumcision does.

If that's the case then why do we have CPS? Social workers? Foster care? Parents don't just have free reign over another human. Tattoos and ear piercing are not religious observances for children in the way circumcision is.
