i love it too, but i think it is only also-terrible when it is arbitrary. in Sasquatch Forrest, there's no reason to mispronounce winter except rhyme. but in eg Sprout and the Bean, mispronouncing inTERested highlights the folkiness of the singer and is charming instead of bad

and in Cole Porter songs, mispronouncing words highlights the playfulness of the relationship between two singers there are ways to do it well
