    Actually, empirical evidence shows that implementing decriminalization and supporting harm reduction strategies like safe consumption sites reduces overdose deaths by upwards of 30%. So yes, decriminalization of drugs literally saves lives.

    Californians loud & clear, voted to stay the course of justice reform focus on rehabilitation, healing, & real community safety. Passed Prop 17, restoring the vote to formerly incarcerated ppl. Defeated Prop 20, which wld have increased use of prison. Onward! There’s more to do.
