I'm a NJ vet. I protected a NJ senator during my duty. It took me 10 months + a lawyer to get a gun purchase permit in NJ! I can protect politicians, but not my own home?!

How does any of the legislation the governor just talked about keep you from owning a firearm to protect your home?

We now have some of the strongest gun laws, If that was the answer to the problem Camden and Newark would be two of the safest places in the nation.

Trenton and Camden are inundated with guns from PA, where it’s a gun free for all. I prefer my NJ laws.

Most of these laws already existed in NJ. It is to make folks, whom obviously know nothing about existing NJ gun Laws, to feel like progress is being made. But it is all redundant. Im for gun sense but this doesn't move the needle. Armor piercing-when/where were they available?

If the new laws are redundant, then it won't impact you. Your concern belies your claim.

And by “sweeping” you mean - pointless gun laws that will do nothing to stop crime but will instead turn law abiding citizens into criminals overnight. Thanks for nothing.
