We've been in frequent communication with Pence, @SecretarySonny, and the CEO of Smithfield. We're working together on a plan to get the plant open as soon as it’s safe. A CDC team arrives today to help us assess the situation on the ground. Additional details soon. (3/4)

Actually, it could have. A shelter in place doesn't force an essential business to close, it prevents people from going to go get beers at the tavern down the block after work. Any mitigation of interactions would reduce the chance of infecting others 1/2

What would cause critical infrastructure to close? A disregard of the actions 41 other states have taken due to the lack of understanding from leadership. 2/2

You need to shelter in place now to help reduce spread of the virus. Don't you want to prevent more spread??? Or did you make a deal with tRump*????? At the cost of the lives of the citizens of the state????

And another thing. Are you telling me that Smithfield would be considered an ESSENTIAL business? But I bet they donate to YOU! So you keep them open instead of giving people the option to avoid death and receive unemployment thru stimulus instead of DIE or STARVE? EVIL.
