Yeah, we got that juxtaposed.
The first time I ran for governor in the 2003 recall, I was taking Professor Kousser's California politics class at UCSD. He recognized me on the first day of school. It was his first or second year of teaching, I think, and I was a sophomore. Now he's department chair.
