Nothing has changed since my January 7 WaPo op-ed. I told the AP reporter that treason charges are exceptionally unlikely, given the legal and evidentiary complications. Sometimes nuance gets lost in the writing and editing of news pieces.
I thought I recalled Professor Larson saying this could have been treason (under the "levying war" clause) soon after it happened in January. Was there some new fact that changed his analysis?
