Dr. John Green, University Hospital Llandough, is listed as an Editor of this article. I think this editor should address the concerns raised here. Having said that, we should keep in mind that it is almost impossible to add a placebo group for acupuncture study. Be open-minded.

Not true. There are sham acupuncture needles that serve as very good controls. Alternatively, needles can be stuck in the "wrong" acupuncture points or non-acupuncture point locations. It is quite possible to include sham acupuncture controls.
