It's just a fact of life in some places, but at least for me I live in a heavily wooded area with winding roads. Between the trees dropping limbs and drivers overshooting curves we can reasonably expect the power to go out with some regularity.

Have you looked into either "off-grid" solar or wind for your home? In many areas extra power you generate can even be sold to the power company.

Ours too I’m beyond irritated Plymouth’s power never used to go out now it’s all of the time and i just returned with $299 of freaking COSTCO food. Ahhhhhhh
