A lot of 2nd Amendment 'logic' seems to boil down to "We reserve the right to shoot our cops/army/government representatives if they try to enforce laws we don't like", or in another word 'Terrorism'.

I think the real issue is that people with zero training in healthcare/ethics/law/end of life care are commenting based on their own interpretation of complex neurology and bioethics, and can't appreciate they may not be the most qualified. I can entirely see why cases like this

Whilst I agree wholeheartedly that they do act in what they professionally believe is the child’s best interest, there has to be a line where the legal guardian of the child ultimately decides. In this case, now, the state should walk away. How can he suffer more in Italy?
