Ugh. This episode of @BullCBS is the most irresponsible episode of TV I've seen in a long time. In it, #Bull defends a mother selling medical cannabis oil (CBD oil) who is using it for her child's leukemia. 1/

Contrary to this episode of
@BullCBS and what#Bull seems to think, cannabis does not cure cancer. 3/https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/medical-marijuana-as-the-new-herbalism-part-2-cannabis-does-not-cure-cancer/ …Show this thread -
Sure, you can find occasional testimonials that suggest that CBD oil might have an effect on cancer, but if you dissect those testimonials they almost always show no such thing. 4/https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/medical-marijuana-as-the-new-herbalism-part-3-a-cannabis-cures-cancer-testimonial/ …

Particularly nauseating is the scene in
@BullCBS where the doctor who examined the defendant's son after he was removed from her care proclaimed the CBD oil effective and that he couldn't have devised a better treatment plan. 5/Show this thread -
No more. Credulously promoting quackery like CBD oil for leukemia in a child, as this episode of
@BullCBS is doing, was a quackery too far for me to have tolerated. 7/Show this thread -
I know, I know (again), a lot of you probably can't believe that I actually like
@BullCBS. A lot of it is because of the likable characters and the entertaining storylines, even if the "trial science" portrayed is not "science." 8/Show this thread -
Oh, well. Lesson learned. I'm watching the doctor who proclaimed the care including CBD oil to be exemplary testify. At this point
@BullCBS is making me want to vomit. 9/Show this thread -
Maybe I should start watching
#TheResident, which I hate, instead...naaahhh. 10/10Show this thread
