Bari Weiss seems to have inspired such steadfast devotion in her admirers, that they are willing to jump in with ad hominems against anyone who decries her sloppy journalistic practices. Including David’s & Amanda’s, saw this in 4 separate threads just now!

She used a bogus fake antifa account to bolster her argument! The most charitable interpretation is she’s a fool. The pattern of selective quotation of bogus sources to paint a picture of the left as the real fascists is alt right.

Indeed. It's the same deceptive technique used by Jonah Goldberg in "Liberal Fascism" that relies on misunderstanding history and what fascism is.
