My issue was with a physicist who declared a cell phone-cancer link "impossible" on physical grounds alone based on his Cancer Biology 101 view of cancer that chemical bonds MUST be broken to produce mutations that initiate cancer. As a Chemist a further analysis to comfort oneself is a recognition of the nature of cell phone radiation (radio and microwaves) and recognition that we encounter that form of radiation at much higher intensities on a daily basis with some individuals exposed at very high levels

Looking at cell phones, in isolation, the data seems insufficient however recognizing we have decades of exposure work on microwaves and radio waves (including sailors who experienced massive dosages) puts the risk in perspective
