      If a study involving 1300 people was underpowered to measure an effect, that would indicate that the effect size was very small. So, the conclusion would that ivermectin had either no effect or almost no effect.

      Yep. If a trial of over a thousand people was too small to detect an effect, that effect is either quite small or nonexistent.

          And if a trial doesn't follow the FLCCC (or similar) guidelines for early treatment/ prophylaxis then maybe they didn't want to see a positive signal.
