In a disease with low case numbers and low transmissibility, 4.4% might be acceptable. In a disease as transmissible as varicella, it's a disaster.

Per 2010 census 17.5% of US pop is age 5-17 which for 375mil in US is 65mil. Given delta very infxs and schools wide open assume most kids get it. 4.4% is 2.9 million kids with symptoms to 28 days and for 1.8% with symptoms to 56 days that's 1.2 million kids.
