I certainly disagree strongly with anyone suggesting Ivermectin as a substitute for vaccine. But it strikes me as a little bit odd that North American agencies are so reluctant to give it emergency authorization for use in case of breakthrough infections. It's 1/

extremely safe in normal doses, and has some observation and lab evidence suggesting it might be helpful. To the extent that it helps, great. To the extent that it doesn't, that will reinforce the point that it's not a miracle drug and shouldn't to an excuse for vaccine 2/
