Before the pandemic, antivaxxers frequently claimed that measles was a significant risk *only* to children with chronic health problems (or who were immunosuppressed) or who lived in impoverished countries, making MMR unnecessary for their affluent children.

Certainly! We see that in not only their lack of empathy for the "weak" but also their reaction to their idea that the vaccine weakens your future children. You can find many posts arguing that they need to be genetically pure and worrying about finding a "pure" spouse.

Sometimes we see them being a bit more subtle about it by saying they want to have "organic" DNA but it comes to the same conclusion: that anyone who gets the vaccine is lesser to them at a fundamental level.
