I (and @stevennovella) will, of course, be happy to correct any post and apologize if we mistakenly wrote that @BlanchardPhD was fired. However, after going over every @sciencebasedmed post in which he was mentioned, I can't find where any of our bloggers actually wrote that.https://twitter.com/BlanchardPhD/status/1416795624721326086 …

I haven't read Shrier's book but you do realize that it says above the bulleted list including that sentence: "Shrier’s themes and false major claims include:" Right?

Ah, no wonder it didn't register when I was searching all of our articles. In context, I thought Rose was simply paraphrasing Shrier's claims.pic.twitter.com/3JljFbNtWY

I will consult with our guest blogger fur explanation and clarification, as, depending on what Shrier wrote, this could arguably be somewhat of a judgment call more than an outright error. Stay tuned.

I have DM'd
@AbigailShrier to ask if she ever wrote that. I have a copy of her book, but she can answer that faster.1 reply 0 retweets 10 likes -

Pending discussion with our blogger, I have for the moment simply removed your name from the parentheses. However, if our blogger can point out a passage by Shrier that supports the original wording, I will likely put it back. Either way, there will be an explanation.

According to
@AbigailShrier , she has never written that I was fired.1 reply 0 retweets 11 likes
I'll wait for my guest blogger to explain before making a final decision. Having read Shrier far more extensively than ever planned, given that I had no idea who she was before Harriet's review of her book, let's just say I'll give our blogger the benefit of the doubt.
