So apparently someone Tweeted a private email response I sent after an inquiry to SBM in order to try to embarrass me. Uncool. Also, there was nothing embarrassing in it.

Sorry, was this a third party sharing a private email of yours? If it's the person you addressed unless they specifically agreed not to share it this seems a weak argument. If I wrote a journalist/MP/author abt anything I wouldn't hesitate to republish their correspondence to me.
