Going to embarass myself here by saying that I have two hard-to-treat autoimmune issues (narcolepsy and RA) and I did try out TCM. I nearly got liver damage. I should have known better. I'm educated to know better. But I was desperate.

manipulative/bodywork + mind-body interventions/relaxation techniques/meditation + extra focus on nutrition/exercise/lifestyle aren’t necessarily quackery and can be safely integrated. granted integrative medicine doesn’t do a good job getting rid of the actual quackery
