Seriously, what would my recourse have been if a porch pirate had taken the computer during the couple of hours it sat on the porch? I have a security camera, but most porch pirates are smart enough at least to cover their faces.

I mean, I appreciate
@FedEx delivering a couple of days earlier than expected, but getting a message on the morning of delivery, too late for any change in plans given that I was in clinic and my wife had business, with no clear way to postpone or redirect it? Not cool.Show this thread -
In the past, when ordering iPhones or other electronics, I'd redirect the delivery to the nearest
@fedex store, but there was apparently no way to do that this time.Show this thread

I feel you, it was very similar when I got my new computer and then later my cell phone

When the M1 MacBook Pro is released and I order it, I'm going to have to look to see if there's a way to ship it to the nearest FedEx Store right off the bat.

There's usually a way to redirect the shipment to another location unless you're Best Buy and specifically chose the shipping method that wouldn't allow that when I bought my phone.
-
There was not, at least not on the app or the website. Maybe I should have tried calling, but who has time to wait for a customer support person?

They did the same thing to me. Luckily, I was home and found it. Enjoy the new computer! That’s what I got and it’s lightning fast!
