Your point? It took ~14 years, IIRC, to identify an intermediate animal host for the original SARS, and no intermediate host has yet been identified for Ebola.🙄 Your argument is, essentially: "Scientists haven't yet found the intermediate host in 15 months, therefore #LabLeak."https://twitter.com/BrentCa24718741/status/1405286506600697859 …

I’m agnostic, you are emotionally invested in zoonotic origin, so let’s please wrap this up. NO INTERMEDIATE ANIMAL HOST HAS YET BEEN FOUND —period! Please instead engage Lipsitch, who is both very sharp and on the left. https://twitter.com/mlipsitch/status/1398456461752254464?s=20 …

The argument from ignorance. 🙄 It can be used to argue for young earth creationism, alien abductions, the resurrection of Jesus and almost anything.

As I understand it (am I right?) its really easy to see human interference in a virus and anybody in the field can spot it. - as an example - the Astrazeneca vaccine uses a modified virus as a delivery mechanism, it deletes the harmful bits of the virus and uses modified bit 1/2

2/2 to train our bodies to fight the virus. it's super easy for anybody in the field to spot these changes and covid19 has none of these identifiers?

They traced SARS to the civet cats at the market within 6 months and to the horseshoe bats with 18 months, I believe. https://www.natap.org/2003/may/052703_3.htm …

No, this is wrong. Found in the civet cats within 6 months (intermediate host), then found the bat population in 2017, 15 years after the initial outbreak.
