Have they ever considered someone could have got infected in Yunnan (where the most closely related viruses have been discovered) and then travelled to Wuhan and started the outbreak? That makes more sense to me than the lab leak....

Wuhan is a few hours' flying time from all sorts of interesting reservoirs in countries with scant surveillance capacity but known close relatives of the beastie circulating in bat populations with overlapping or contiguous territories stretching from the Lower Mekong to Yunnan..
