The most amazing part about this whole lab leak debate is that there is essentially NO NEW EVIDENCE but since it gets reads whenever it comes up we keep relitigating the same garbage arguments

Can you honestly say Gideon, that you have read this article from start to finish, and it raises no concerns in your mind that you wish to see fully investigated? Really? Hand on heart? There's a vast and obvious difference between thinking that we don't have sufficient evidence to conclude that a lab leak didn't happen and promoting the idea that there is drastic new evidence proving it did

The evidence largely isn't new, but the changing political climate in the US means it might be received now somewhat more objectively

I do not know or care overly much about US politics to be honest, I'm more interested in whether new evidence has emerged (it hasn't)

Lack of evidence *yet* doesn't mean it's not possible. We may never find any - still doesn't prove or disprove things either way.

And we might never find evidence that the World Trade Center towers were destroyed by controlled demolition.
