That is what really bothers me. Trujillo suffered the ultimate consequence for his (in)action, but he may have infected others along the way.

Considering he worked in a jail...there’s pretty good chance he contributed to spread. One of his friends and coworkers died from covid just a couple of weeks before he did.

I wonder if he ever knew that he had Covid? I mean, the doctors may have told him, but he may have dismissed or thought otherwise. I wonder if he ever regretted his actions? Some folks die while in denial.
