personally, i am not dismissive of homeopathy. hahnemann approach is intriguing, and from my research seems to have started w quinine from bark. it is different to think greater dilutions = greater potency. anecdotally, i relate that i have used a couple times w great results.

The Law of Similars and the Law of Infinitesimals are the key laws behind homeopathy. It is not at all "different" to think that greater dilutions equal greater potency because THAT'S ONE OF THE TWO MAJOR TENETS OF HOMEOPATHY. Seriously.

I’m going with homeopathy. At least reiki has a social component.

Indeed, they’re both ridiculous. I don’t understand how someone would think either would work. Doesn’t the lack of a plausible mechanism concern believers?
-
Doesn't seem to stop people from going to chiropractors...

I pick any kind of energy "healing" : Reiki, Chakras, spirit guides, etc. (Is prayer a form of energy "medicine" ? )

I'd say homeopathy is more dangerous because the "patient" is given medicine to take. It makes it more believable.
-
Dangerous in the sense that you might forego treatment that works for water.
