It’s disingenuous and the evidence is weak at best. So many other factors played a large role too like.. lockdowns, school closures, working from home, patients avoiding doctors and hospitals because of the pandemic (etc)

I’m liking masks. My husband is usually sick every 6-8 weeks with whatever is around. He catches every cold there is. Neither of us have been sick in over a year. And I have resting bitch face, but with a mask on, no one can tell.
-
Lol. I know the resting bitch face dilemma.

I think we could all learn about this pandemic (like using face mask if you are sick, beter higiene, quarantine yourself if you are sick) but keeping the lockdown would ve ludicrous

One of the gazillion reasons I'm bummed about the CDC giving people permission to ditch their masks. As an immunocompromised person who depends on the herd, I was hoping masks would become more of a cultural norm in the US. I was clearly smoking crack to think that was possible.

I’m fully vaccinated and still wear mine because it’s not for me. And I’m not an asshole.

Tangential question ... how will those who must do this determine the composition of the winter 21-22 flu vaccine given the paucity of cases this past winter and now in the Southern Hemisphere?
-
I would assume there has been much less mutation (because such little spread) so whatever influenza went around last time will be pretty close to what is coming this time.
