Antivaxxers love to ask why the vaccinated should care if they’re unvaccinated, even though vaccines aren’t 100% effective and the unvaccinated do spread disease. Why do antimaskers have a problem with others wearing masks, which can’t possibly harm anyone other than the wearer?https://twitter.com/MattWalshBlog/status/1393960167994179594 …

Narrator: It was never about the mask. It was about identifying the "other" and relentlessly taunting them for being different.

They taunting ‘others’ not just for being different, but for being what they believe is WRONG, BAD, and HARMFUL to others.

Ah, no, you see, it's like "States' Rights". A choice is only valid when the right like it. States want to ban abortion? YES! States restrict open carry? NOOOOOO! Same with masks, vaccines and anything else that made Trump look bad.

They're the same ones who get super touchy if they get any side-eye about their red MAGA hats & trucks covered with Trump flags but yet also get triggered if someone is wearing a face mask during a global pandemic.

To Matt he is down with dictating what ppl do or wear on their bodies as long as it suits his whims. I am pretty sure he would flip if society banned ppl buying and wearing catholic religious medals. My mask is my choice

I just had a former friend share this
I say former friend because she called my sister a nazi (she's a nurse in a nursing home). As for myself, I am just a blind complier who doesn't do her research and who would have helped the Nazis during the war.
She likes history.pic.twitter.com/afEK1MZKqK

Very speculative hypothesis: when someone wears mask it can make it harder to gender, age, racially "profile" them in split second. Some find that very uncomfortable. Or: it's a reminder of mortality, or the non-return to the old normal - also uncomfortable & unsettling to many.
