Let's just say this. If antivaxxers love—I mean, really, really LOVE—what your message. Maybe...just maybe...you should question if whether your message is actually as grounded in evidence and science as you think it is.

I'll conclude by referring to
@JHowardBrainMD's excellent rebuttal of the article.https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/covid-19-vaccine-children-under-an-emergency-use-authorization/ …Show this thread

This article isn't as one-dimensionally anti-vaxx as the title suggests. I'm getting my kids vaxxed as soon as they can be, but I did find the article had some interesting points to consider. It's too bad they opted for an inflammatory header.

Unknowingly (I presume) the authors used some antivax tropes. (The appeal to the 1976 swine flu vaccine program is a *favorite* among antivaxxers, for instance.) It is not a "balanced" article.https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/covid-19-vaccine-children-under-an-emergency-use-authorization/ …

I really wish someone would tell my 18 yo patient who ended up on the vent, she did not have a severe outcome from COVID. Then she would not have required intubation had she only known that she shouldn't have severe outcomes.

That’s really appalling. If an antivaxx group was approvingly spreading my stuff, I’d be horrified.

The point of that article was to argue against authorizing the vax for kids due to aunidentified AEs. Prasad's next article said to not vaccinate teens for global equity reasons. Not vaccinating kids is ripe antivax territory.
